Grand Mega Resort & Spa Bali Kuta , Kuta (Bali)

I found the hotel to be a surprisingly nice place to recuperate after a hospital stay. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the room service was delicious. The breakfast had a great variety of options as well, but I couldn’t try out much of the hotel’s facilities since I was unwell. Overall, it felt like a very positive experience, especially considering the circumstances.

I had high hopes for my stay, given the location and initial impressions, but the experience fell short. While the staff was kind and the setting was decent, the rooms I encountered were quite worn down, leading to discomfort during my stay. The breakfast often left much to be desired, and overall, the quality didn't meet my expectations for a hotel.

I was really excited about my stay, especially after hearing great things about the pool and welcome drinks, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. The water had a strong iron smell and the hot water took ages to come through. To make matters worse, the room service didn’t change the stained bed cover after several requests. The experience with airport transfer was awkward too, with a rude interaction from a staff member. I won't be returning to this hotel.

My experience at the hotel left a lot to be desired. While the staff were welcoming and friendly, the overall condition of the rooms was unacceptable. The location was quite far from the beach, and the dining situation was unsanitary, which significantly impacted my stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for more than a night due to various issues.
